Intanto lo spagnolo è tornato a parlare ai microfoni di Casa Sky Sport proprio dell’esperienza in rossonero e successivo addio. Di seguito le sue dichiarazioni con qualche stoccata, in particolare circa la Champions League. Queste le sue parole:

C’era questa possibilità di venire al Siviglia, che è una società molto seria, e quindi ho deciso di arrivare in Spagna. La Serie A mi ha reso quello che sono e quindi sì, mi piacerebbe ritornare a giocare nel vostro campionato. Ad esempio anche a Genova sono stati sei mesi stupendi. Io vicino all’Inter? Sì è vero, e ho parlato con Spalletti, che mi aveva promesso che con lui sarei diventato un giocatore migliore. E’ un grande allenatore, ma mi dispiaceva lasciare il Milan. Ho parlato anche con la Roma di Monchi, ma non c’è stato mai nulla di concreto”.
