Il giornalista della televisione nazionale polacca non ha usato mezzi termini per criticare il suo connazionale Piatek. In particolare il giornalista ha ammesso che forse le aspettative erano troppo alte, fermo restando che non sia stato aiutato dalla squadra.

“E’ più facile spiegare la sua caduta piuttosto che spiegare la sua improvvisa ascesa. Prima di tutto, a mio parere, non è mai stato così bravo come dicevano i numeri: un buon attaccante, con istinto e senso del gol, ma credo che sia successo tutto troppo velocemente per lui. Seconda cosa: è stato ed è davvero difficile segnare col Milan, Suso è un giocatore terribile e anche gli altri centrocampisti non hanno aiutato Piatek. Magari con Pioli le cose cambieranno, lo speriamo”.
“Penso che dovrebbe lasciare il Milan, ma non so quale sia la cosa migliore. Se sente che l’allenatore lo vede come una chiara alternativa a Ibrahimovic, potrebbe imparare da Zlatan e giocare 15-20 minuti a partita (o di più in Coppa Italia), il che non sarebbe così male. Giocare partite intere in altri club, magari un po’ più deboli e meno importanti, sembrerebbe una cosa migliore per lui, ma non sono sicuro che qualcuno possa assicurarglielo”.
La stoccata al Milan
“E’ uno che lavora sodo, uno di quegli attaccanti che sono anche i primi difensori, quindi sono sicuro che potrebbe giocare in qualsiasi formazione. Il problema del Milan è la mancanza di creatività in mezzo al campo, quindi non sono sicuro che inserire un secondo centravanti risolverebbe i problemi. Credo che dovrebbero cederlo in prestito se pensassero che Piatek possa dare risposte nel lungo periodo, altrimenti dovrebbero cederlo il prima possibile, quando il prezzo è ancora piuttosto elevato”.
